Some pages may contain affiliate links. If you follow one and make a qualifying purchase or sign up, DogTrainingScout may receive a commission. Relevant links and commercial content will be labelled where a reader can see the disclosure before acting.
What an affiliate relationship means
An affiliate relationship allows a publisher to receive compensation when a reader follows a tracked link and completes an action covered by the merchant's programme terms. That action may be a purchase, trial, subscription or another qualifying event.
Acceptance into an affiliate programme is not evidence that the product is suitable, effective or recommended. DogTrainingScout may discuss providers that do not pay commission and may decline to cover a provider that does.
How affiliate content is identified
A general footer notice is not used as the only disclosure. A clear notice will appear close to an affiliate recommendation, button, table or link before the reader acts. Labels may include Ad, Affiliate link or a plain-language statement explaining the relationship.
Ad / affiliate link: If you buy through this link, DogTrainingScout may earn a commission.
If a page contains a mixture of affiliate and non-affiliate options, the relevant commercial links or sections will be identified. Affiliate abbreviations will not be used on their own where their meaning may be unclear.
Price, attribution and commission
The merchant sets its prices, taxes, currencies, delivery charges, eligibility rules and transaction terms. Commission normally comes from the merchant or affiliate network, but DogTrainingScout cannot promise that following a link will never affect the offers, attribution or prices a merchant presents.
Tracking may fail or expire. A reader may purchase without DogTrainingScout receiving commission. Commission rates and attribution windows can change without notice and will not be treated as evidence of quality.
Editorial independence
Coverage decisions are based on usefulness, available evidence, welfare considerations and fit. A provider cannot buy a favourable verdict, higher ranking, removal of material criticism or advance approval of editorial conclusions.
Where a review is published, it will distinguish what was accessed or assessed from merchant claims, public information and matters that remain unknown. The word "review" will not be used merely because an affiliate programme exists.
Read the Editorial Policy for the wider research and corrections standard.
Affiliate tracking and privacy
At the date of this notice, the public site does not use active affiliate links or publisher-side affiliate tracking. When affiliate links are introduced, following one may send the destination address, referral information and ordinary technical data to the merchant or affiliate network. The destination may set its own cookies or use other tracking under its privacy policy.
DogTrainingScout will update the Privacy and Cookie Policy before adding any publisher-side affiliate script, advertising technology or other tracking that changes the site's own data processing.
Third-party merchants
A merchant, not DogTrainingScout, is responsible for its product, service, website, claims, availability, prices, billing, renewals, cancellation, refund decisions, customer support and legal terms. Check the merchant's current information before paying. DogTrainingScout is not a party to a contract between a reader and a third-party merchant unless a page expressly states otherwise.
References to trademarks, product names and provider claims belong to their respective owners and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
